FIRE & EMBERS
Fire & Embers is a two-part yoga class that pairs strong, sweaty movement with a long, intentional cooldown.
The first half builds fire — a steady, challenging flow designed to elevate your heart rate, build strength, and generate heat through continuous movement.
The second half sits with the embers — longer, yin-style holds (2–5 minutes) that allow the body to open while the heat lingers.
You’ll leave feeling sweaty, open, grounded, and deeply reset.
power playground
Power Playground is a strength class focused on foundational lifts like squats, deadlifts, and presses, supported by accessory work for balance and injury prevention.
This class is built for all levels. Whether you’re new to lifting or more experienced, you’ll be coached through proper setup, load progression, and smart movement choices.

meet the founder
Meet Sam — founder of Village Strength Studio.
With a background in Kinesiology from Acadia University and experience as a varsity basketball athlete, she brings both knowledge and lived experience to how she trains and coaches.
Village was built as a space for thoughtful training, real progression, and a strong sense of community — something she felt was missing. The kind of place people want to come back to.
Her approach is straightforward: train with purpose, stay consistent, and create an environment where people feel supported while doing it.
